Gregory Tudor, MD
Associate Program Director - Dept of EM
Medical School & Residencies
University of New Mexico Medical School, UICOMP EM Residency
OSF Saint Francis Medical Center
Originally from New Mexico, Gregory Tudor, MD came to Peoria in 1992 to train in EM. After finishing my residency, he joined the faculty in 1995, assuming the role of Director of Medical Student Education in 1996. He was part of the original group who brought simulation to the medical school - original METI simulator. Tudor has been involved in education of medical students, residents, faculty and allied health providers using simulation. Creating cases, debriefing, and research are all elements of simulation with which he has been/currently am involved. Tudor also has a significant interest in Ethics and Professionalism; this interest is what spurned his involvement in simulation - using technology to learn procedures, resuscitation techniques and communication/team skills, as opposed to the traditional model of learning while caring for actual patients.
