Purpose
The purpose of this program is to improve patient outcomes by sharing knowledge with nurses to enhance the care given to critical care, neurology, cardiac, and trauma patients. Through the CARE program, nurses will have the opportunity to network with like providers across the regions served by OSF Healthcare.  With the knowledge and relationships gained, nurses will be able to quickly identify, appropriately treat, and/or swiftly transfer these types of patients to the appropriate level of care.

Clinicians that are interested in content but cannot attend in person, may join the online meeting to listen to presented material.  CE's, however, cannot be awarded for the online activity.
OSF Healthcare Provider Unit is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. (OBN-001-91) (OH-353, 11/1/2019). Illinois has designated ONA as the official approver of CNE Providers and activities for Illinois.
